Lead Backend Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Lead Backend Engineer to own the design and implementation of our backend infrastructure as we scale from 1 to 10M+ daily active users.

Requirements

• Proven experience designing backend infrastructure for millions of users.
• Hands-on experience with cost-efficient and secure systems.
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript expertise.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably GCP.
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.
• Knowledge of API versioning and backward compatibility.
• Familiarity with security and compliance best practices.
