Protocol Engineer, Go - Remote

Overview

We’re looking for an experienced Protocol Engineer to join the Proofs Team at OP Labs, contributing to the evolution of our fault proof system and ensuring the security of the Superchain.

In Short

• Evolve our proof system to meet stage 2 requirements using dispute games and/or validity proofs
• Develop important Go-based OP Stack infrastructure, for example Cannon, the Fault Proof VM
• Contribute to launching and scaling Superchain interoperability
• Help keep the Superchain secure by improving monitoring and automated response systems

Requirements

• Proven experience developing in Go, Rust, Java, or another similar language
• Blockchain development experience and strong understanding of cryptographic principles
• Experience in systems programming, ideally in developing low-level software such as virtual machines, interpreters, or compilers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Zero Knowledge Proofs or ZK VMs is a nice-to-have
