Senior Accountant - Remote

Overview

The Senior Accountant will support the US finance operations of a global social impact measurement company, ensuring accurate accounting and compliance.

In Short

• Fully remote position working UK business hours.
• Responsible for full-cycle accounting for the US entity.
• Prepare monthly close and maintain reconciliation files.
• Handle payroll-related accounting and ensure compliance.
• Monitor US Sales & Use Tax and maintain compliance records.
• Manage banking and treasury functions including reconciliations.
• Work with various accounting systems and tools.
• Collaborate with the CFO and Head of Finance.
• Requires strong knowledge of US GAAP and accounting principles.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
• Significant accounting experience in a US-focused role.
• Familiarity with US Sales & Use Tax compliance.
• Experience with accounting software like Avalara and Xledger.
• Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Ability to work across time zones.
• Attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills.
