Overview

As Product Counsel, your work will have a direct impact on the implementation and management of OnePay’s privacy and data governance programs, providing strategic legal advice across the company.

In Short

• Assist in developing and maintaining privacy and data governance programs.
• Advise on data privacy regulatory landscape and identify privacy risks.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and information security teams.
• Provide support for privacy, data use, and AI assessments.
• Act as a legal subject matter expert on privacy issues.
• Draft and negotiate commercial agreements related to data protection.

Requirements

• Qualified to practice law in the U.S.
• 4+ years of relevant data protection and privacy experience.
• Ability to provide clear and pragmatic legal advice.
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills.
• Strong contract drafting and review skills.
• Creative and business-oriented mindset.
• Intellectually curious and comfortable with ambiguity.
