In Short

  • Lead Life Science sales efforts across the Omega Optical Holdings Platform.
  • Research Life Science markets and develop business partnerships.
  • Provide technical and sales expertise to translate customer needs into orders.
  • Generate bookings and maintain customer accounts.
  • Make onsite customer visits and attend trade shows.
  • Develop and communicate strategic sales plans to Senior Management.
  • Support the capture of near-term sales opportunities.
  • Manage personnel and key accounts.
  • Willingness to travel to customers (50 to 70%).
  • Report to the Sales Director – Life Science.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Optics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive experience in the Life Science space.
  • Proven sales excellence capabilities and knowledge of sales management best practices.
  • Possesses relationships with technical contacts in Life Science companies.
  • Knowledge of Life Science related analytic systems.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented.
  • Able to lead through influence and example.
  • Ability to assemble and manage a team of direct reports.
