Senior Data Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Senior Data Engineering Consultant will be responsible for requirements gathering, solutioning, designing and building modern data platforms to support data-driven decision making. The Engineer will execute technical implementation of data engineering and visualization projects, and will be a hands-on role.

• Obtain and maintain training and certification in cloud technologies.
• Work with the marketing team to promote the practice.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5-9 years of experience in data engineering.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Understanding of relational database concepts and SQL querying.
• Strong experience integrating with multiple data sources.
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with ETL tools and data warehousing solutions.
• Experience with visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with at least one programming language (Python, Java, Scala).
