Senior Cloud Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Sr. Cloud Engineer at Ollion, you will own the technical relationship with a set of Clients and serve as their technical advocate point of contact for all aspects of their cloud environment, including architecture, operations, and deployments.

In Short

• Lead the design, implementation, administration and overall management of cloud infrastructure for multiple clients.
• Perform technical reviews of existing cloud deployments and provide continuous recommendations.
• Consult with Clients to understand their strategic initiatives and provide personalized recommendations.
• Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with Clients' digital objectives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud-related issues.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction with each Client engagement.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support rapid deployments.
• Apply Infrastructure-as-Code to automate environment provisioning.
• Act as a subject matter expert on industry regulations and provide compliance consulting.
• Work as part of a team for a 24/7 rotating schedule including US hours.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or DevOps Engineer.
• Expert level on at least one major Cloud Service Provider (CSP).
• Strong knowledge of cloud security and compliance principles.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Time management and proactive approach to issues.
• Team player with adaptability to evolving business needs.
• Industry certification(s) such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
• B.S. in Computer Science or related field.
