Overview

Octave is seeking a Frontend Engineer with 5+ years of experience to build engaging, scalable, and performant user interfaces for clients seeking care, providers offering care, and operational teams.

• Lead the development of highly responsive user interfaces using React, Next.js, and CSS.

Requirements

• 5+ years building scalable, maintainable, and performant frontend applications.
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading frontend technical discussions.
• Strong experience in developing and deploying with React.
• Expert-level proficiency in CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience with continuous delivery and troubleshooting production code.
• Familiarity with integrating frontend applications with backend services via REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Experience working with healthcare or regulated industries.
• Strong experience with modern web technologies (JSON, HTTP2, WebSockets).
• Interest in mission-driven work in healthcare.
