Lead Developer - Remote

Overview

Nymbus is looking for an experienced Lead Developer to join our agile squad and develop the front and backend of our enterprise applications as well as integrations. The position of Lead Developer combines technical experience, analytical abilities, and sound coding skills.

• Expertise in Python/Javascript for maintaining and modernizing existing system components.
• Product development with a focus on delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.
• Strong understanding of database schemas and design principles.
• Proficiency in SQL and database scripting.
• Familiarity with Source Control Management systems like Git.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for database deployments.
• Knowledge of ORM tools is advantageous.
• Minimum 7 years in a Python & Javascript development role.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Experience working 100% remote with a distributed team.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years in a Python & Javascript development role.
• Proven understanding of web technologies such as Jython, JavaScript, SCSS, HTML5, XML, and/or Ajax.
• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in database management and architecture.
• Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written).
• Able to maintain a strong work ethic in a rapidly changing environment.
