Peer Supervisor - Remote

Overview

The Peer Supervisor will oversee a team of Certified Peer Specialists and Peer Recovery Advocates, providing support to high-needs participants involved in the criminal justice system.

In Short

• Supervise a team of Peer Specialists and Certified Recovery Peer Advocates.
• Conduct individual weekly supervision and regular check-ins.
• Provide technical guidance around participant case management.
• Assist with participant appointments and document progress.
• Ensure understanding of CJA-QSR policy among Peer Specialists.
• Act as a liaison between Peers and other program staff.
• Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.
• Willingness to work evening and weekend hours.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other technology.
• Commitment to the professional development of formerly incarcerated people.

Requirements

• A. or equivalent work experience required.
• OASAS/OMH Peer Specialist Certification required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a relevant setting.
• History of lived experience in various systems required.
• Familiarity with a person-centered, strength-based approach.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Bilingual is a plus.
