Overview

The Director, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) will play a pivotal role in Nuvalent’s continued growth, focusing on financial planning and reporting processes.

In Short

• Partner with Finance/Accounting and Technical Operations teams.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and planning initiatives.
• Manage standard costing for commercial products.
• Champion system implementation and enhancements.
• Support Supply Chain team with inventory processes.
• Collaborate with accounting for monthly close processes.
• Provide input for leadership presentations.
• Conduct ad-hoc financial projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, MBA preferred.
• 10-12 years of financial reporting and analysis experience.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• System savvy with financial planning tools.
• Strong communication skills and executive presence.
• Excellent Excel and analytical skills.
