Software Mind is seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of Content Platform Developer (PHP, JavaScript, and WordPress) located in Latam.

In Short

• Design, develop, and maintain WordPress CMS
• Work with cross-functional teams for CMS integrations
• Conduct proactive maintenance for security and performance
• Own and drive projects from start to finish
• Create and maintain unit, integration, and acceptance tests
• Proficiency in PHP and JavaScript
• Experience with headless WordPress architectures
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Experience with Gutenberg and React
• Familiarity with testing best practices

Requirements

• +90% English written and oral (at least B2 level)
• Experience in collaborative team environments
• Solid understanding of MySQL
• Expertise in deploying and optimizing WordPress sites
• Familiarity with WP-CLI
• Proactive and self-motivated
• Experience with headless CMS architectures
• Ability to see the big picture of system interactions
• Nice to have: Familiarity with Elasticsearch, SlimPHP, PHP 8.2+, GraphQL/Apollo, SEO concepts
