UX Designer - Remote

Overview

Number8 is seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of UX Designer located in Latam.

In Short

• UI / UX Design work focused primarily on creating mockups and prototypes.
• All design work, mockups, and prototypes are done in Figma.
• Produce mockups and prototypes that Business stakeholders can take to vendors for approval.
• Understand and work closely with the Product Designer to know their vision and be able to act quickly.
• Have a Product focused mindset - this role is not just about making great-looking designs but understanding the business implications that inform effective designs for the client.
• Understand UI/UX design from a Business perspective + incorporate business logic into what you're designing.
• Be on top of UX best practices and functionality, and be thinking about what happens when the member goes through the flows of web and mobile apps.
• Be able to work effectively with minimal guidance and be able to take an idea from the Product Manager and run with it to turn it into a high-quality design.
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• +90% English written and oral (at least C1 level) with excellent communication skills.
• Proven experience with lead forms, web pages, marketing pages, and mobile web design.
• Must have 6 hours of overlap with the Pacific Time Zone.
• Strong design systems thinking, UX design best-practices.
• Proven experience with Figma.
• Needs to be able to collaborate and effectively interface with the Product Manager and various other stakeholders.
• Must be open to learning; open to getting their hands dirty and getting going.
• Must be operational, organized, and efficient.
• Ability to take business requests and break them down into manageable steps to achieve a goal.
