UX Designer - Remote

Overview

The User Experience Analyst is an entry level role, learning about, and contributing to, the research, analysis and design of digital products and systems. User Experience partners with Product and Technology colleagues to create innovative and intuitive digital products that deliver best-in-class user experience and usability to our clients, both internally and externally.

In Short

• Participate in meetings with users, clients, product sponsors and technology to understand project requirements.
• Contribute to UX research, IA design, user journeys, create personas.
• Learn the importance of metrics/data to support decision-making.
• Work closely with users, stakeholders, business analysts, product managers and development teams to brainstorm and co-create ideas, approaches and solutions.
• Participate in testing to validate and inform design decisions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using specialist tools.
• Apply a positive and constructive attitude to all feedback.
• Ensure all designs comply with ADA/WCAG standards for accessibility.
• Keep up to date with the latest UX practices, innovations and tools.
• Provide ongoing support to development, with regular UX review checkpoints as needed.

Requirements

• 3 - 4 years of relevant experience.
• Strong attention to detail & analytical skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Basic experience with design tools, or willingness & ability to learn quickly.
• Keen interest in, or knowledge of, banking or finance.
• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.
