Senior Portfolio Manager, Venture - Remote

Overview

The Senior Portfolio Manager, Venture will help expand and deepen our venture philanthropy portfolio of grantees, providing strategic guidance and support to ensure their success.

In Short

• Manage a portfolio of grantees, providing strategic guidance.
• Conduct regular check-ins with grantees to assess progress.
• Coordinate internal resources and connect with external opportunities.
• Manage the grantmaking process from application to reporting.
• Support the development of program materials and reports.
• Lead strategic convenings and workshops for stakeholders.
• Track and analyze grantee performance and impact.
• Ensure compliance with grant requirements.
• Participate in team-related initiatives and training sessions.
• Contribute to the development of evaluation frameworks.

Requirements

• 4 - 6 years of experience in philanthropy or climate-focused social enterprise.
• Expertise in energy transition or climate mitigation.
• International experience preferred, especially in Asia.
• Direct experience with grantmaking organizations preferred.
• Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Graduate degree preferred.
