Patient Flow Coordinator - Immediate Care Center - Remote

Overview

The Patient Flow Coordinator (PFC) plays a crucial role in enhancing patient care within the Immediate Care Center by virtually triaging patients and improving throughput.

In Short

• This is a Casual position for the NM Immediate Care System.
• The position is hybrid, allowing remote work.
• Shifts are 12 hours every two weeks from 7:15am-7:45pm.
• Weekend and holiday work is required.
• Responsibilities include assessing patients and documenting interactions in Epic.
• Emergency Department or Urgent Care Nurse experience is preferred.
• Must maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Excellent multitasking skills are essential.
• Must communicate effectively with ICC staff and patients.
• In-clinic orientation is required.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse License issued by State of Illinois.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support CPR certification.
• BSN or higher degree.
• Previous Emergency Department or Urgent Care triage experience.
• Proficient with Epic electronic charting system is preferred.
• At least 3 years’ experience in an emergency department setting is preferred.
• TNCC or TNS Certification is a plus.
• Immediate care background is beneficial.
