Overview

The Coding Denials Specialist plays a crucial role in the healthcare industry by ensuring accurate coding and billing practices. This position involves training staff, abstracting medical records, and maintaining compliance with coding regulations.

• Abstracts and codes physician professional services and diagnosis codes.

Requirements

• RHIA, RHIT, CPC, or CCS certification required.
• 0-2 years of experience in a relevant role.
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Health Information Management preferred.
• Experience with physician coding is preferred.
