Overview

The Coding Denials Specialist is responsible for reviewing and responding to denials associated with professional fee coding issues, ensuring adherence to coding standards and regulations.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Health Information Technology preferred.
• Professional practice coding experience required.
• Knowledge of health information management practices.
• Familiarity with Joint Commission standards and healthcare regulations.
• Certification in coding (RHIT, CCS, CPC, or CCA) is mandatory.
