Site Reliability Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Site Reliability Engineer at Dayforce, you will bridge the gap between development and operations, facilitating collaboration to enhance service quality and feature delivery.

In Short

• Work remotely from anywhere in Canada or the USA.
• Join a pioneering Site Reliability Engineering team.
• Build and maintain internal tools for proactive alerting and remediation.
• Participate in incident management and root cause investigations.
• Develop runbooks and reusable components.
• Engage in onboarding new features and ensuring production readiness.
• Collaborate with various business units within Dayforce.
• Engage in PagerDuty on-call rotations as necessary.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain or currently possess Canadian Protected B security clearance.
• 2-4 years of experience in SRE, System Administration, or related fields.
• Experience with Cloud Platforms, preferably Azure.
• Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language (C# or Java preferred).
• Experience with at least one scripting language (Python or PowerShell preferred).
• Familiarity with database engines and querying languages (MSSQL, TSQL, Postgres, PLSQL preferred).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of containerization and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Familiarity with Terraform is an asset.
