Overview

The Strategic Account Manager for Nordson Product Assembly is responsible for selling adhesive application equipment in North Carolina and South Carolina, focusing on building relationships with customers and achieving sales targets.

In Short

  • Sell adhesive application equipment in assigned territories.
  • Develop and implement territory sales plans.
  • Regular travel to customer locations for relationship building.
  • Forecast sales using Nordson CRM system.
  • Identify new applications and customer needs.
  • Maintain knowledge of Nordson products and pricing.
  • Collaborate with technical teams for customer solutions.
  • Update customer information in CRM daily.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and company vehicle.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of industrial sales experience.
  • Experience with CRM systems (SAP or Salesforce preferred).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
  • Flexibility for overnight travel.
  • Technical aptitude and ability to learn.
