Overview

The Strategic Account Manager for Industrial Sales will be responsible for selling adhesive application equipment in the assigned territory, focusing on customer relationships and achieving sales targets.

In Short

  • Sell adhesive application equipment in Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia.
  • Meet or exceed sales budget for systems and parts.
  • Develop and implement a territory sales plan.
  • Regularly travel to customer locations.
  • Forecast sales using Nordson CRM system.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend solutions.
  • Maintain knowledge of Nordson products and market trends.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to develop customer quotes.
  • Update customer information in the CRM system daily.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of industrial sales experience.
  • Experience with CRM systems, preferably SAP or Salesforce.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Flexibility for overnight travel.
