Senior Accountant - Remote

Overview

The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in ensuring accurate accounting reconciliations and analysis to ensure efficient financial operations at Noodle, a leading partner in higher education.

In Short

• Perform regular reconciliations of general ledger accounts and financial records.
• Prepare detailed reconciliation reports and supporting documentation.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with departments to resolve financial issues.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and policies.
• Provide recommendations to improve reconciliation processes.
• Monitor and clear open items in reconciliation accounts.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
• Assist with audits and ad-hoc financial analysis as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting.
• 3-5 years of accounting experience.
• Knowledge of general accounting procedures.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial systems.
• Experience with NetSuite and Concur is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Google Workspace.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, team-based environment.
