CloudOps Engineer III - Remote

Overview

As a CloudOps Engineer III, you will be responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of cloud infrastructure, spearheading modernization initiatives, and upholding security, compliance, and cost-efficiency across various environments.

In Short

• Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform for provisioning and maintaining cloud infrastructure.
• Enforce cloud governance, security, and compliance policies.
• Document and resolve operational or security findings.
• Generate insights and reports to optimize cloud usage and costs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure and operational initiatives.
• Support the modernization of legacy systems through automated infrastructure practices.
• Monitor cloud services and respond to operational or security incidents.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and knowledge-sharing materials.

Requirements

• Proven experience with AWS Cloud Practitioner certification.
• Proficient with Terraform and GitHub (1-3 years’ experience).
• Strong proficiency in Linux administration (Ubuntu, Amazon Linux).
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker.
• Experience administering relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) within AWS.
• Familiarity with cloud security best practices.
