Staff Accountant - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and motivated Staff Accountant to join our team in Utah! You will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and can handle a variety of accounting tasks.

In Short

• Maintain and update the general ledger by posting and verifying transactions.
• Process invoices, prepare payments, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Perform bank, cash, and general ledger account reconciliations to resolve discrepancies.
• Review and process employee expense reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company procedures.

Requirements

• Hybrid position, requiring one in-office day per week (Thursday) at our Orem office.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1-3 years of accounting experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in NetSuite and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
