Staff Accountant - Remote

In Short

• Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly accounting tasks.
• Support month-end close process with journal entries.
• Perform reconciliations to ensure accurate transactions.
• Analyze financial data for trends and issues.
• Foster relationships with cross-functional partners.
• Review work of outsourced accounting team.
• Maintain documentation for accuracy and audit readiness.
• Assist with audits and SOX requests.
• Manage ad-hoc accounting projects.
• Initiate process improvements and documentation.

Requirements

• 2-3+ years of accounting experience, public accounting preferred.
• BA or BS degree in Accounting from a top university.
• CPA or CPA track preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills required.
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to manage complex problems and present results.
• Multi-tasking and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work well in In-Person & Remote settings.
