Team Lead - IT Platform & Application Engineering - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Team Lead - IT Platform & Application Engineering to strengthen our team.

In Short

• Lead two engineering teams, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Develop strategic roadmap for internal platform and application landscape.
• Plan and manage technical projects from conception to successful completion.
• Drive automation of infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
• Support team in developing scalable and user-friendly internal applications.
• Act as a central contact for internal stakeholders ensuring smooth information flow.
• Coordinate technical requests and ensure the team has the right conditions to work efficiently.
• Promote agile working methods and develop the team methodically.
• Encourage a customer and service-oriented approach in IT work.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Software Development.
• Initial leadership experience as Team Lead, Tech Lead, or in a similar role.
• Proficient in Linux systems and container platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) and CI/CD processes.
• Strong communication skills and strategic thinking.
• Customer-oriented mindset.
• Fluent in German and English.
