Overview

We are looking for a proactive and highly organized Team Lead - IT Platform & Application Engineering to join our team as soon as possible.

In Short

• Lead two engineering teams, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Develop the strategic roadmap for internal platform and application landscape.
• Manage technical projects from concept to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
• Drive automation of infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
• Support the team in developing scalable and user-friendly applications.
• Act as a central contact for stakeholders, ensuring smooth information flow.
• Coordinate technical requests and optimize team working conditions.
• Promote agile working methods like Scrum and Kanban.
• Communicate effectively and strategically as a leader.
• Business-fluent in German and English.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or related field.
• Several years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Software Development.
• Initial leadership experience in a Team Lead or Tech Lead role.
• Strong knowledge of Linux systems and container platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Ability to design CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication skills and strategic thinking.
• Customer and service-oriented approach.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
