Senior Accountant in eCommerce (m/f/d) - 100% Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to strengthen our team in a full-time 100% remote position.

In Short

• Independent preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB.
• Management of VAT group, including handling OSS reports and applying the reverse charge procedure.
• Ensuring tax compliance in international business processes, especially regarding VAT issues.
• Support in optimizing and digitizing accounting processes, ideally with a focus on e-commerce.
• Collaboration with tax advisors, auditors, and international partners.
• Creation of reports and analyses for management.

Requirements

• Completed commercial training with further training as an accountant (IHK) or a comparable qualification.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in accounting, preferably in an international or e-commerce environment.
• In-depth knowledge of international tax law, especially VAT (OSS, reverse charge, etc.).
• Experience in managing VAT groups.
• Proficient in DATEV and MS Excel; knowledge of ERP systems is an advantage.
• Structured and independent working style with a high degree of accuracy.
• German (C1) and English (at least B2) language skills.
