Remote Senior Accountant

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join an expanding team. The Senior Accountant is responsible for reviewing and maintaining accurate books and records for a portfolio of multi-family properties.

• Review and monitor performance of outsourcing partnership.
• Manage a portfolio of properties and special reporting requirements.
• Review and interpret month-end financial packages.
• Ensure outsourcing partner meets deadlines and delivers quality work.
• Maintain consistency in financial processes and reporting.
• Resolve errors and inconsistencies in financial entries.
• Ensure timely payment of high-priority payments.
• Analyze property cash position weekly.
• Build cash forecasts collaboratively.
• Develop strong relationships with clients.

Requirements

• 2 - 4 years accounting experience in financial reporting.
• Real estate accounting experience strongly desired.
• Experience with Yardi is highly desired.
• Experience in cash management, forecasting, and planning.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
