Underwriting Manager - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Underwriting Manager to lead and oversee our underwriting team. The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of mortgage underwriting experience across conforming, FHA, VA, jumbo, and non-QM loan products.

Requirements

• 10+ years of mortgage underwriting experience.
• 5+ years in a leadership or management role.
• Experience with warehouse line oversight.
• Strong understanding of credit risk and collateral analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in mortgage LOS platforms.
• DE/CHUMS, LAPP/SAR certifications preferred.
• Experience in retail and wholesale lending environments.
• Proven success in scaling underwriting operations.
