MLOps/Data Engineer - Remote

Nift is disrupting performance marketing, delivering millions of new customers to brands every month. We’re actively looking for a hands-on Engineer to focus on MLOps/Data Engineering to build the data and ML platform that powers product decisions and production models.

In Short

• Design and implement data storage strategies with scalability and security.
• Build and maintain robust data pipelines including orchestration and documentation.
• Productionize training and inference with CI/CD for models.
• Centralize feature generation and manage model registry/metadata.
• Implement monitoring for data quality and pipeline health.
• Optimize compute/storage and reduce pipeline fragility.
• Refactor research code into reusable components.
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to turn prototypes into production systems.
• Drive the technical vision for ML/data platform capabilities.

Requirements

• 5+ years in data engineering/MLOps or related fields.
• Strong coding, debugging, and CI/CD discipline.
• Production experience on AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Expert SQL and data modeling skills.
• Experience with ML tooling like MLflow or SageMaker.
• Experience with Databricks and Redshift.
• Monitoring/observability experience for data/ML.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with PySpark, Glue, Dask, or Kafka.
