Senior Data Scientist - Remote

Overview

The Senior Data Scientist will work with a global R&D team to develop new methodologies for NIQ’s Retail Measurement Service, focusing on improving product and data quality through advanced technologies.

• Research and develop new methodologies and quantify improvements.
• Deliver enhancements to improve quality and process efficiencies.
• Collaborate with technology and Data Science teams during development.

Requirements

• Master’s/Doctorate in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Understanding of the FMCG industry and advanced knowledge of RMS systems/products.
• Experience in product research, design, and implementation.
• Strong analytical skills and critical thinking.
• Expertise in programming, statistical analysis, machine learning, or deep learning.
• Proficient in Python and large-scale databases (SQL, Hadoop, pySpark).
• Experience with Azure, DataBricks, and CI/CD is a plus.
• Comfortable working in a virtual environment and with Git processes.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
