Technical Accounting Manager - Remote

Overview

Nexthink is seeking a seasoned accounting professional to build and lead the technical accounting function, serving as the subject matter expert on complex areas such as revenue recognition, purchase accounting, and stock-based compensation.

In Short

• Lead all technical accounting and revenue accounting functions.
• Serve as the expert in revenue and purchase accounting, among other complex transactions.
• Enhance global accounting policies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Prepare US GAAP consolidated financial statements and footnotes.
• Drive improvements in Internal Controls over Financial Reporting.
• Oversee revenue accounting close and support other accounting activities.
• Support annual audits of financial statements.
• Liaise with global tax manager for income tax reporting.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization.
• Assist in ad-hoc projects related to M&A and system implementations.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• 3 years of public accounting experience required.
• Experience with NetSuite (Oracle) preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of US GAAP.
• Ability to thrive in a global, fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Ability to work with multicultural teams.
