Engineer II, Software Development - Remote

Overview

The Engineer II, Software Development will be an integral part of an Agile software development team responsible for the quality and value of the healthcare software applications provided to our customers.

In Short

• Configure, code, and document software specifications throughout the life cycle of assigned projects.
• Partner with product managers and Quality Engineers to develop strategies aligning with business goals.
• Provide technical leadership by overseeing test strategy creation and framework designing.
• Implement continuous testing and select tools to ensure quality standards.
• Evaluate test results and improve product quality processes.
• Collaborate with product support to address customer feedback.
• Perform additional duties supporting overall objectives.
• 5+ years in IT quality assurance; 3+ years in Software Quality Engineering automation.
• Knowledge of automation frameworks and programming languages.
• Ability to prioritize workload and develop effective test plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information science, computer science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT quality assurance.
• Experience in defect logging, tracking, and RCA/CAPA processes.
• Knowledge of automation frameworks like Cypress and programming languages such as JavaScript.
• Experience with SQL databases like PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD practices.
• Understanding of API testing strategies and tools.
• Ability to document issues, test results, and metrics.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn new skills independently.
