Sr. Security Engineer I - Remote

Overview

The Sr. Engineer I, Security will help drive continuous improvements in NextGen’s security posture, leveraging automation and developing security tooling for the Security Engineering team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline
• 4+ years in systems administration, software engineering, or related discipline
• 5+ years in software engineering or development preferred
• Experience with AWS and enterprise-scale applications
• Knowledge of application delivery architecture and public cloud services
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages like Python and Java
• Familiarity with configuration management tools and DevOps practices
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and work in teams
