Overview

The Sterile Processing Technician II plays a vital role in patient care at Mass General Hospital by ensuring the cleaning, decontamination, sterilization, and distribution of medical equipment and supplies.

In Short

• Responsible for advanced tasks in the sterile processing department.
• Shift: Night Shift - Monday-Friday 11pm-7:30am.
• Receive and process used medical instruments and equipment.
• Conduct regular quality checks of instruments and equipment.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies.
• Maintain and troubleshoot sterilization equipment.
• Provide training to less experienced technicians.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of experience preferred.
• Certification as a CRCST is preferred.
