Overview

The Clinical Nurse Manager is responsible for directing, planning, and coordinating nursing service activities and staffing performance to ensure quality patient care at Newton-Wellesley Hospital.

In Short

  • Directs nursing service activities and staffing performance.
  • May provide direct patient care.
  • Develops and implements staff onboarding and training programs.
  • Provides ongoing coaching and performance feedback.

  • Complies with all policies and standards.
  • Requires RN license and preferred ACLS/BLS certifications.
  • Demands strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required, Master's preferred.
  • 2-3 years of Level III NICU Nursing experience required.
  • 1-2 years of nursing leadership experience preferred.
  • Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
  • Strong commitment to clinical excellence.
  • Knowledgeable of care required for various age groups.
