Senior Accountant, Revenue - Remote

Overview

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing revenue accounting processes across multiple products and segments, requiring deep expertise in revenue recognition and exceptional analytical skills.

• Manage billing and revenue recognition processes ensuring compliance with GAAP.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly journal entries and general ledger reconciliations.
• Review contracts for appropriate revenue recognition treatment.
• Collaborate with sales and operations teams for proper documentation.
• Investigate and resolve complex revenue and billing issues.
• Analyze revenue trends and provide insights to management.
• Develop and maintain internal controls related to revenue recognition.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to interpret customer contracts.
• Assist in the implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with IT on revenue systems and process alignment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• 5-7 years of experience in revenue accounting with strong GAAP knowledge.
• Experience managing revenue for multiple products, preferably in AdTech.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
