AWS Data Engineer - Remote

Overview

Netrix Global is looking for a AWS Data Engineer for the Professional Services – Data Intelligence department. The Data Engineer acts as critical members of the data science team, involved in researching, building, and designing the artificial intelligence responsible for machine learning and maintaining and improving existing AI systems.

In Short

• Identifying, creating, and preparing data for modern Data solutions and AI.
• Designing ETLs and ELTs for data transformations.
• Designing, building, and managing Data Lake architectures.
• Working with Apache Hadoop projects (Spark, Hive, Pig, Oozie, Airflow, etc).
• Integrating and testing Data solutions.
• Creating and documenting tests to meet requirements.
• Working with Big Data environments.
• Managing Data Cloud services, data access, security, and governance.
• Analyzing and preparing data for Machine Learning workloads.
• Managing monitoring and logs of applications and services.

Requirements

• Experience in Data Engineer/Architect role and tasks such as ETL, data preparation, and ingestion.
• At least 2 years of experience working in Cloud environments (AWS).
• Knowledge of Python, R, or other data processing tools.
• Intermediate/Upper level of English.
• Experience with Apache Spark.
• Experience using AWS Data services: S3, AWS Glue, Athena, SageMaker, etc.
• Experience using DevOps tools (Git, pipelines).
• Experience working in an Agile Scrum team.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
