Security Analyst II - Remote

Overview

Netrix Global team is looking for an experienced Security Analyst II to join our growing security team. In this role, you will be responsible for defending client environments and internal infrastructure against evolving cyber threats. You will operate within a global 24/7 SOC environment, playing a key role in detection, investigation, and incident response, while also contributing to threat hunting, process optimization, and security automation initiatives.

In Short

• Act as a senior member of the Security Operations Center (SOC), managing and resolving security incidents.
• Lead incident investigations and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with global security teams to improve processes and operational best practices.
• Perform in-depth analysis of complex security logs and SIEM alerts.
• Maintain and enhance existing security tools and detection logic.
• Proactively identify risks and opportunities to strengthen security posture.
• Contribute to 24/7 SOC operations.
• Mentor junior analysts and foster a collaborative team culture.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Information Security or related roles.
• Experience in a SOC environment with SIEM and security technologies.
• 2+ years of experience with cloud environments and security tools.
• Experience with SOAR platforms and scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• Working knowledge of Linux systems.
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles.
• Proven ability to conduct root cause analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement.
