Data Engineer (AWS) - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Data Engineer (AWS) with solid experience in cloud data solutions and technical leadership to join our team.

In Short

• Design and implement custom data solutions from streaming to data lakes and analytics within a dynamic tech stack.
• Provide technical leadership by recommending optimal technologies and architectures based on use cases.
• Develop production solutions using Python, Java, or Scala, prioritizing performance, security, and scalability.
• Collaborate in hybrid and diverse environments like AWS, Cloudera, Databricks, and Snowflake.
• Create detailed technical documentation (sequence diagrams, logical views, class hierarchies, etc.).
• Present complex technical solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Work under Agile methodologies.
• Design, build, and implement databases and data stores aligned with business needs.
• Lead technical teams in end-to-end data projects.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• 4+ years specifically working with AWS.
• 4+ years of experience with at least one of the following technologies: PySpark, Scala, Data Lakehouse in AWS.
• 2+ years leading teams in data projects.
• Advanced English level (C1-C2).
• Availability to travel at least 25%.

Benefits
