Senior Data Engineer – ETL & Python - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with solid experience in developing and optimizing data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and cloud technologies. The selected person will be responsible for designing scalable solutions for data processing and integration, collaborating with Analytics, BI, and Development teams.

In Short

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT processes for data integration and transformation.
• Build pipelines using Data Stream, Dataform, and BigQuery.
• Develop automation and scripting in Python using Pandas.
• Integrate internal and external APIs for information processing.
• Optimize SQL queries and relational database structures.
• Manage and query PostgreSQL and MySQL databases.
• Ensure quality, integrity, and availability of information.
• Monitor the performance and efficiency of data pipelines.
• Document technical processes and data architecture.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on analytical and operational initiatives.

Requirements

• More than 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Solid experience in ETL/ELT processes.
• Proficiency in Data Stream, Dataform, and BigQuery.
• Programming in Python focused on data processing.
• Experience with Pandas.
• Integration and consumption of APIs.
• Advanced SQL.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Handling large volumes of information.
• Knowledge of best practices in data engineering.
• Intermediate English.
