The Critical Operations and Reliability Engineering team aims to drive customer joy by managing risk and minimizing impact across Netflix.

In Short

• Design and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure for Netflix Streaming Suite.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams for observability and reliability.
• Develop automation tools for monitoring, deployment, and incident response.
• Participate in on-call rotations for 24/7 service health.
• Implement a robust incident response framework.
• Identify sources of instability in distributed systems.
• Champion a culture of reliability across the Ads organization.
• Document and develop best-practice guides for reliability enhancements.
• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or similar roles.
• Proficient in programming languages like Python, Go, or Java.

Requirements

• Experience with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
• Knowledge of container orchestration systems like Kubernetes.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills.
