Netflix Animation Studios is seeking a highly skilled Post Engineer to join their team in Sydney, Australia. This role involves troubleshooting complex media workflows and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance post-production processes.

In Short

• Provide expert troubleshooting and maintenance of media systems.
• Collaborate with Feature Animation, DI, and Editorial teams.
• Maintain and calibrate digital cinema projectors.
• Create and maintain documentation using Jira and Microsoft Office 365.
• Perform upgrades on media-related workstations.
• Develop efficient workflows for post-production services.
• Liaise with Systems Engineers for performance enhancement.
• Participate in off-hours maintenance and upgrades.
• Provide technical training to staff.
• Adhere to best security practices.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in AV, IT, or Post Production.
• Strong background in the entertainment/media industry.
• Experience with complex audio/video systems.
• Qualifications in Audio Visual/Broadcast or related fields.
• In-depth knowledge of projection technology and AV networking.
• Expertise in troubleshooting OS and application issues.
• Experience in creating documentation and providing training.
• Strong collaborative and customer-focused mindset.
