• As a Cost Engineer, you will be responsible for financial feasibility studies of large-scale construction projects.
• You will create cost estimates based on sketches to establish budgets.
• You will manage budget control and cash flow for projects.
• You will advise clients on material applications and methodologies.
• You will be responsible for data and information management of investment and maintenance costs.
• You will collaborate with project engineers and leaders.
• You will need strong communication skills in Dutch, English, and possibly French.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture, or an Economic background.
• Strong affinity with construction and project costs.
• Numerical and cost-conscious insight.
• Strong technical understanding and interest in techniques.
• Proficient in Excel and data visualization/business analytics tools.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Open to creative and innovative solutions.
• Willingness to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
• Strong communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on optimization.
