In Short

• The Cost Engineer – CECE team develops direct material costs and tooling investments for Chassis, HVAC & Engine Systems components.
• Providing subject matter expertise to support engineering and purchasing.
• Support during the vehicle development phase for target achievement.
• Release cost engineering estimates during development phase up to contract milestones.
• Conduct should cost calculations for new & modified purchased components.
• Evaluate engineering changes to establish technical costs.
• Periodic supplier visits to maintain & improve internal know-how.
• Identify potential cost optimization opportunities.
• Develop the cost structure for component standardization plans.
• Must reside and be legally authorized to work in Mexico.

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years in production, quality, cost estimation, or process expertise.
• Intermediate or fluent English speaking.
• Knowledge and expertise in metal stamping and welding.
• Working hours matching CET time zone.
