Senior Software Test Engineer - Remote

Overview

NetDocuments is seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer to help shape the future of our next-generation, AI-powered document management platform. In this role, you’ll take ownership of the quality strategy and test architecture for our cloud-native, event-driven systems.

In Short

• Own the quality strategy for key initiatives across frontend, backend, and data pipelines.
• Design and build robust automation using TypeScript and C#.
• Implement CI/CD quality gates and fast feedback loops.
• Expand non-functional coverage including performance and accessibility checks.
• Build test data and environments for increased speed and repeatability.
• Partner across disciplines to design for testability and deliver seamless customer experiences.
• Integrate and validate AI-driven services for safe and consistent behavior.
• Mentor engineers on testing best practices and operational excellence.
• Document quality architecture with clear test plans.
• Contribute to mobile testing where applicable.

Requirements

• 7+ years in software quality/test engineering with automation focus.
• 2+ years leading test strategy or quality initiatives.
• Advanced skills in OOP languages, modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with event-driven architecture and API validation.
• Practical experience with AWS, containers, and CI/CD.
• Comfort with performance profiling and observability techniques.
• Strong grasp of the test pyramid and risk-based testing.
• Excellent cross-functional communication skills.
• Ability to express test strategies with clear diagrams.
• Adaptability in fast-paced environments.
