Senior Software Test Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Software Test Engineer at Rockwell Automation, you will participate in the testing activities for industry-leading Manufacturing Execution System (MES) products integrated with machine automation, control systems, and ERP software.

In Short

• Participate in product requirements development and architectural design of automated test systems.
• Design, code, and verify automated test systems throughout the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing.
• Experience with test strategies and automation using Java and scripting languages.
• Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., qTest).
• Understanding of cloud technology and CI/CD principles.
• Familiarity with development tools (Eclipse, GitLab, JUnit, JIRA, Jenkins).
• Database programming skills (SQL Server, Oracle).
• Experience in regulated industries and MES applications.
• Proficiency in English and German.
• Experience working with globally distributed teams.
