Per Diem Hematopathologist - Remote

NeoGenomics is looking for someone to join the team as a Per Diem Hematopathologist. This is a remote opportunity.

In Short

• Responsible for providing contemporary Hematopathology services.
• Integrates morphological examination with Flow Cytometry, Cytogenetics, FISH, and Molecular genetics.
• Performs diagnostic interpretation and sign out of flow cytometry and FISH cases.
• Reads and interprets laboratory data.
• Participates in quality control and assurance procedures.
• Interacts with clients for Pre-Analytical, Analytical, and Post-Analytical questions.
• Provides expertise to technologists and technicians.
• Works closely with clinical and administrative staff to maintain high standards.
• Builds effective relationships with referring physicians.

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree with board certification/eligibility in Hematopathology preferred.
• At least five years of attending level experience in hematopathology.
• Active and unrestricted Medical License in the state of residence required.
• Proven track record as a productive member of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Experience using an automated laboratory information system (LIS).
