Overview

As a Certified Coding Specialist, you will analyze medical records and abstract clinical data by assigning codes from patient records in accordance with coding classification systems.

Requirements

• AAPC or AHIMA Certification required.
• Thorough knowledge of ICD10 and CPT coding.
• Knowledge of CMS LCD/NCD and payer medical policies.
• Understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Ability to code with 97% accuracy based on QA reviews.
